Circle Of Love Gathering: Workshops
- 2008 WORKSHOP INFORMATION COMING SOON!
- Read below to learn about the types of opportunities we had in 2007.
- Rev. David Leonard - Dance Me To The End of Love
- Using movement and various intimacy exercises we will court the Presence of Love. Dr. Ernest Holmes tells us that it is time to move out of concepts and theories and into a direct experience of Love. David has been the Spiritual Director of the Center for Conscious Living in Huntsville, AL since 1989. He lends a playful and passionate energy to his expression of Truth. His desire is that we all unfold into our divine potential, blossoming in the moment, dancing in the light, while we remember who we are. As he allows himself to merge more completely with the Beloved, he is then able to invite others to dance with him as together they unite in the One. His passion for union with the Beloved is contagious. Bring your open heart to this workshop.

We will prepare a sanctuary inside oneself that is a solid place of refuge, wisdom and insight so the individual will be poised in peace and anchored in a deep inner knowing and confidence
This workshops intention is to create the capacity within the individual to access their inner sanctuary so when life presents us with ciaos, radical change, and challenges that you will have an anchor of peace that you can access in an instant.
- Revs. Mary Beth & Michael Speer - The Incredible Lightness of BEing.
- As Joseph Campbell observed, "I don't believe people are looking for the
meaning of life as much as they are looking for the experience of being
alive." This workshop will explore what we are alive to. Revs. Mary Beth and Michael are Co-Pastors of the DuPage Center of Religious Science in Glen Ellyn, IL. From Michael & Mary Beth. "As Husband and Wife, as Spiritual Partners, and as Co-Ministers of Religious Science, we dedicate ourselves to expressing God through all of our affairs, experiences, and relationships. We affirm that all life is God and all life is Good. Because of this, we accept that we are in harmony with every person and outpicturing in our lives. We are the creators of our experience. We express all the qualities of God through every thought and experience. We are well pleased, for we live our lives in Truth, and do not compromise Principle - not even for special occasions."

- Revs. Renee Leboa & Christy Snow - From The Heart
- From the heart is a workshop designed to allow the light of our true Divine nature to shine regardless of circumstance and regardless of the actions of others. No one has to change for us to be happy! To do this we must learn how to and continually choose to, live with our hearts open and from a place that believes that life is for us and not against us. We live our fullest, richest, healthiest life when we learn to live in this way and we stop wasting our life living a guarded existence.
We will explore some of the things that often side track us from our intention to live openly and freely with one another. Then we will practice tools that assist in annihilating those walls of separation. The walls fall from the power of peace that comes from the knowledge that all is God, therefore all is good and my life is perfect right here and now! Learn how to and gain practice in reframing situations to support this belief. Learn and practice heart centered listening and how to look past apparent faults of another and see their potential and from “seeing it right” it is done!

- Linda Finley - The Journey of Sacred Grief
- Being Religious Scientists does not mean that nothing painful ever happens to us. It means that we are more equipped to respond to such experiences. Grief is a necessary walk on the spiritual path. Losses can range from loss of employment, pets, possessions, a sense of safety or order, to the loss of the people nearest to us. We respond with an ebb and flow of processes such as Shock and Numbness, Yearning and Searching, Disorganization and Despair, and Reorganization. Honoring our emotions moves us closer to our Oneness with All.

- Margaret Starbird - "Mary Magdalene, Bride and Beloved."
- Was Mary Magdalene the wife and Beloved of Jesus? What became of her after the Crucifixion of Jesus? What if the first Christian heresy was the denial of the Bride when her story was suppressed by the Church Fathers. Margaret Starbird’s work explores the Gospel accounts and later legends of Mary Magdalene, the "Bride in Exile," whose voice was silenced when she was called a prostitute. Starbird’s work heals the tragic “design flaw” in Christian doctrine—the loss of the Sacred Feminine. The workshop includes slides of images of Mary Magdalene and the art and artefacts of the "Grail" legends.
